Member of the steering committee from Telemark, Torunn Hovde Kaasa responded in an article the day after, 3^rd of January 2003, in the same newspaper. She said that it was good that a lot of people were engaged in PIPE, both in a positive and negative way. The project is about participation. However she thought it was sad that youth looked at PIPE as propaganda. Hovde Kassa emphasized that the participating youth can show participants from other countries how a country outside the EU is doing. As long as Norway is member of EEA, Notodden can benefit from the good things in EU.
