There was an Enterprising Day for schools in
Järva County on 11. April. It was held by Türi Economical Gymnasium, which
belongs to the PIPE project. On the day participated 8 schools, including PIPE´s
partners Paide Co-Educational Gymnasium and Rapla Vesiroosi
Gymnasium.
The day was arranged to get students from the other schools in Järva County
to participate in local enterprising, introduce economical studies and improve
students´ team-work, self-dependence etc. The day was meant for students from
1st class to 12th. Student companies from Paide Co-Ed.Gymnasium, Tyri Economical
Gymnasium and Rapla Vesiroosi Gymnasium sold their products and introduced
theirselves.
Two student companies - STAFF from Paide Co-Ed.Gymnasium and Titay from Rapla
VG - talked about their experiences, gained from the Young Enterprise Europe
fair in Switzerland, Lugano, which was held in 20-23 March. Students also
listened experience of businessmen from local enterprises: from furniture
producer Jalax and restoran Külla Jürile. Elmer Voolaid from Tyri Economical
Gymnasium introduced and talked about PIPE project.
Primary school children performed acts on
the topic "Joyful shop" and made products from secondary materials, which they
had to promote to the others. Upper basic school students tried their skills in
simulated job interviews and played interactive economic simulation exercise
CAPS. For high-school students there was an economic game Marketplace, where
they could act in different roles - as a banker, householder, salesman and
producer. The consulter of the game was Epp Vodja from Junior Achievement
Estonia.

There were 180 students and 12 consulters participating on the Enterprising
