Finnmark is the northernmost and easternmost, as well as the largest region of Norway. It borders on both Finland and Russia. Approximately 76.442 inhabitants live in 19 different municipalities, and the acreage is 48.637 km2. Finnmark is therefore the sparsely populated region in Norway.
