Can Kirkenes town be Finnmarks answer to the London Dockside or Aker Brygge? An entusiastic group of youths from 7 different countries have studied, analysed and proposed a future vision for Kirkenes town.

At the end of January three people from Cesis City in Latvia participated in the PIPE project youth conference held in Kirkenes in Norway. Among the conference participants were PIPE, LATVIA project coordinator Inese Suija, Elina Eglite, a representative from Friendly Appeal Cesis State Grammar School and me.

After six hours travelling we arrived to Kirkenes and were very excited. We would have a fine dinner at the hotel and meet everybody else from other countries.
