In an article on the 27th of May 2003 Varden qouted from the meeting in the municipal council. one of the youths, Elisath T. Faane, said in her speech that they would follow the mayor closely until they got what they wanted. Then Varden presented the PIPe project, but the journalist was also worried that the youths would be disappointed since the municipal budget is tight.

A group of youths say to Telen  on the 26th of May 2003 that they want to actively contribute to thedevelopment of Notodden. They have already received much positive feedback on their efforts and they feel the experience has been very interesting and educational.

The same day, the editorial in Telen compliments the effort from the PIPE participants, in particular for taking into account the strict budget. They hope to see more of these youths.

On Monday the 26th of May 2003 Telemarksavisa also had an article onthe meeting. Some of the youth's ideas are presented and the newspaper emphasises the wish for environmental buses and skiing arenas.
