The webgroup at the youth conference in Kirkenes had lots of ideas about what could make the webpage better.

Here you can read the ideas they came up with.

  • There should be one webpage for each region. This should be a subpage on PIPE
where participants could publish what is going on in the region. New pages
could be placed as sub pages on www.pipeproject.no , but existing websites run
by participants could be linked to.
  • There should be monthly deadlines for new articles on these regional pages.
Articles should show activities last month and can then be used by PIPE
management in newsletters, pressreleases and so forth from the project. First
    deadline is February 28.
  • Pictures are important.
  • There should be periodic newsletters to the local media, politicians and other
    relevant groups or individuals.
  • There should be one "editor in charge" per regional webpage. This could be a
team of one adult and one youth. The editor in charge is responsible for the
    quality of the webpage.
  • There should be set up a webchat possibility so that participants could see who
is on the net at the same time. And be given the possibility to chat with each
    other.
  • The management team of PIPE should be available on chat at a certain weekday.
Ex monday 1000-1100 or after school.
  • The participants should be presented on the regional subpages on PIPE. Short
    description, photo, email adress..
  • It would be nice if everybody could have a  ....@pipeproject.no mailadress
  • We did not have the time for discussing the use of intranet and a project room on
    the website.
