Yesterday 5th of August we had the official opening at the Twinpark of Rovaniemi.

EXPO has just started and the feelings are great!

Young students from Rovaniemi, Rapla and Järva visited Västra Götaland in the end of September. In this article Mari Orjasniemi from Ounasvaara school tell about the experiences from the youth exchange.

This weekend there was a small workshop for active PIPErs in Rovaniemi. Anne Luiro is the co-oordinator in Rovaniemi and in this article you can read about the event.

On the 10th of October 2002 Lapin Kansa had an article about the project in Rovanimi. A week later, the 17th of October 2002, the newpaper, Uusi Rovaniemi, also had an article about PIPE.

The day was very warm outside but we managed to do good work inside. Almost 45 PIPE youths were involved and 10 adults who's attitude was very positive for our ideas.

Yesterday there was a PIPE culture tour in Rovaniemi. Youths from Russia, Norway and Finland explored some of Rovaniemi’s cultural places. Today the youths are visiting PIPE schools in the Rovaniemi area.

Rovaniemi, an international, developing town of business, administration and education, is located at the confluence of Lapland's mighty rivers Kemijoki and Ounasjoki. As the capital of the province, Rovaniemi has always been a gateway to Lapland.
