The Østfold delegation arrived Tranemo Thursday evening and the Norwegian students lived with the Swedish.
The main themes for the youth exchange were motivation related to the Expo in May and how to build a stand/decorate a monter. The first day, Thursday, we had hired two experts, Eva Andersson and Anders Larsson, who focused at motiavation. They switched between speeches and practical exercises. They raised a lot of questions and one of them were: How come that some team is doing good and others are not?? They presented some key words to explain this: trust, participation, differences between participants, democracy/solidarity, clear aims, clarified rolls, feedback and good communication.
The second day, Friday, we had an expert, Annika Lilja, who had her own company. She was a decorator and made a lot of stands for different companies. She explained how to build a stand and we visited her company in Borås. Annika gave us a lot of advise how to build a stand.
Thursday evening we went to bowling in Ulricehamn and Friday night the Swedish students arranged a "Swedish night" in Tranemo. Saturday morning we said goodbye to our Swedish friends and went back to Østfold.
I do hope all the Swedes and Norwegians had a good time and started to "think" and focus at Expo in May!
On behalf of the Norwegians I will say thank you for a good program and great days in Tranemo.
