Youth exchange in Murmansk 2003-04-29
Recently youths and teachers from Rovaniemi and Finnmark visited Murmansk. In this article Maxim Belov, the project manager in Murmansk is telling about the experiences and how they worked. You also find the participants list.

Here are some results of  Youth exchange in Murmansk :
The main idea of this meeting was to make visible for foreigners what are the identity feelings in hearts of Russian Youths. That is why programme consists of concert programme, dance groups, folk groups   national history and culture which are popular things in Russian minds.

Workshops:
The  teachers who organized these supposed that it will be very important to imagine future, because after that we would have a possibility to imagine main things of youth needs.

So, needs are:  more peace and more love, after step in history.  This means that they want to see the world without modern technology like in middle age.

Themes of workshops were:
- Future town -main idea of this workshop was to imagine the city without cars, without criminals, without factories, and to imagine a town of knowledge and peace.
- Future house- good house. It is the house near small river, surrounded by gardens. A lot of children all over there, they are dancing, singing, jumping up and down and playing different games with each other and animals. Everybody is born to be happy in this house. Union of nature and human and no technical equipment, no gas, no factories.
- Future human-modern boys and girls, equipped by highest technique.
- Future planet - planet of love, peace, without wars.

Visiting of tourist complex. I am interested in opinions of participants from Finland and Norway about that and also in Russian opinions. Please send it to my mail: belov_maksim@mail.ru

In all thanks to all participants whom take part in this Youth exchange, I hope all of you were enjoyed in staying.

Thank you,
Maxim Belov
